Why people laugh at the weak horsepower of is250? Even if you get a4 or 328i, you got pretty much the same range of hp (211 or 230). That's only what you can have for a only $45k entry-level luxury car. If you want 100 more horsepower, you have to pay for another extra $20-25k.

If this is the IS250 F-Sport the IS350 F-Sport should kick ass !

very very good handling
-
great car/slow take off >.<

Well, that's not important to me. I need a car which can go at 120-130 mph, stays on track like on rails, and with not too much noise inside of the cabin. Important for long distance drives.
If I lose one second at the start, who cares? Doesn't matter after several hours.

@2R1V3R Um...Lexus DOES make one of these with improved acceleration...it's called the IS350...

@NigguhJason the Lexus IS has two six-cylinder engines, like the bmw 3-series. the is250 you are talking about is the entry v6 w/ 205hp, but the is350, (the more upscale engine) is a 3.5 liter v6 with nearly an additional 100hp. also, like the bmw, it has a sports version, is-f, which has a 5 liter v8. the car featured in this video is an is250 with some parts drawn from the the is-f. the real is-f is the one w/ the v8, not the 2.5 v6.
