www.ToneFactor.com - After hundreds of emails BEGGING Wampler to bring it back... they responded! The new Triple Wreck Distortion... same high gain distortion as the Limited Edition Triple Recstortion but they've added MORE flexibility....A boost switch that changes it from the triple recstortion to more of a 'big muff pi' type tone - think david gilmour tones. With this switch turned on, it have a knob that pans between creamy fuzz to crunchy distortion.

  • seems to lack some warmth, but not bad.

  • It's warmer in vintage mode, but most of this demo is in the modern mode. The Les Paul was a tad too dark with it in vintage mode for my taste.

  • +infinity for the To Live is To Die riff. Incredible song! Great demo. I am highly considering picking this up. I hate GAS lol.

  • Wampler just makes the most killer ODs and high gain monsters. If you want more an EVH or I should say Eddie in box get the Pinnacle II, it is a brownsound box. the Triple Wreck is an very fuzzed but very articulate high gain also goes into that really over driven Glimour Big Muff fuzz out. Great pedals. The Plextortion is a superb high gain JCM 800-900 tone. You have to get your amp tuned right on a great channel tone. I cannot say anything about SS amps, hard to imagine it would not fry face

  • :D good one!!! :X

hey...what are the pick ups used in the clip? :-?

  • @12345678ix If you want Van Halen, Vai, and Paul Gilbert, some kind of Marshall is the way to go. Paul Gilbert used the Laney GH100 for YEARS, you can get used ones for $500-600 easily! But for EVH, Vai, and Gilbert, anything close to a Mesa isn't going to do it really.

Bugera are Chinese shit amps made by 12 year olds avoiding forced prostitution, and the amps have some of the loosest knob pots I've ever felt. I wouldn't trust bringing it home from the store, let alone gig with it!

  • does it respond well with the volume knob on the guitar? how is it on solid state amp?

  • @unersameunavalible

onespot by visual sound. thats what i use with mine

  • Someone know which adaptor we must used with the wampler triple pedal? it's hard to find it...

  • @12345678ix Try a MI Audio Crunch Box for that.

  • It is so close to the Metallica tone! I put this on one tab and Metallica's "To Live is to Die" sound clip-only here on Youtube and it is very very close in tone.

    Brian Wampler is freakin' excellent.
