Go to: www.worldwar2treasure.com if you are interested in high adventure and want to participate in recovering World War 2 treasure. Massive looting as an extension of war is nothing new. The Japanese were serious, sober, and deliberate when they methodically and systematically looted thirteen Asian Countries during World War 2. They took treasure including precious diamonds and other gems, gold bullion, and solid gold Buddha's out of every hiding place. Much of this treasure did not make it back to Japan due to a World War 2 naval blockade of the Philippine islands by the United States, and has been recovered recently in underground hiding places. Widespread and systematic looting took place during World War 2 throughout Europe and Asia. For details, go to: www.worldwar2treasure.com

  • My dad who is still alive and is 84y/o Was in the Marine 1st Div and also attacked and landed on Iwo Jima. They landed as the second division.

He doesn't talk to much about it and he never was wounded but he is still a tough old leatherneck.

  • I didn't know Tommy Atkins was a real person. This tv show seems like CSI but instead of using murder cases they use history lessons.I am going to bed now...I can sleep well tonight cuz I got the USMC protecting us.

  • @takahito007 He's just motivated to survive and at the same time perform his duty. That is how armies work each with his own duty but ultimately towards one goal. Presence of mind helped him survive,so did his training.

  • who are these igarots?

  • @takahito007 medal of honor ...

  • Yes, i believe Akins, Tommy fired more rounds than we can imgine. When you are out numbered , you will do anything to stay alive ! We have more modern weapons now. But the killings are the same. I have NO doubt Akins used his dead buddies weapons and kepted firing to keep the Japanese wandering and off balanced. There were enough evidence it was no false story. I have heard Americans trained in worse conditiions WITHOUT food or water. This is just PART of training.

  • Yeah, my dad was on the battlefield in Okinawa. I am glad he told me about the war. He really did not want to talk about it caz of so many killings. During mopp up he told me - " it stunk like hell" - dead bodies everywhere. People do NOT know how lucky they are being in their homeland safe! Gee, i saw that video story on Akins, Thomas? That guy had more gutts than American generals holding off the Japanese - over a hundred of them by himself! Damm! He deserved more than medals! Edmondo

  • crazy!

  • great series, but when are they going to show the heroic bravery of the germans or japanese?

  • is he superman ???
