Lien Doan Viet Hung is a Vietnamese Scouting Troop and Crew based in Seattle, Washington. It was established in February 28 1986 and hence the troop number 286.
Currently the Boys Scouts troop and Venture crew are still actively meeting. The Rover Scouts, also known as Trang Doan, have defected to inactivity but still regroup occasionally to plan for and put on ceremonies and yearly banquets.
Dang Truong Khoa and Alex Thuc Nguyen are the current troop master and head venture adviser, respectively.
The most notable achievement within the Vietnamese community, around the Seattle area, of Lien Doan Viet Hung to this date would be the permanent relationship established between current and former troop leaders and advisers and the Tet In Seattle organization. This yearly event is held at the Seattle Center and the troop contributes a substantial number of volunteers and coordinators to the organization perennially.
