@trsisko you don't even know what you are talking about, the contract was one 15 min round and that was it, Guy took the fight with only 2 weeks notice, they ( judges) knew that Guy Mezger had foot injury , GUY won that round but at the very end of it it was clear that his foot was giving him problrms, so the judges really wated Kazushi Sakuraba to win 'cause at the time he was consider the best pound for pound in the world, KEN did the right thing by protecting his fighter, so shut up

@bigwyls the fight was ruled a draw. Guy landed the better shots. Saku got the takedowns and went for more sub finishes. the Biggest part of Pride's scoring criteria was going for finishes. Also there was the 10 kilo rule in effect for the Grand Prix because Guy was 30lbs heavier.

Metzger has a foot injury coming into the fight, plus the fight was supposed to be just 15 min without an overtime. Pride didnt like the outcome so they changed it right on the spot trying to give Sakuraba a chance to win. Yeah Pride was corrupt.

I always felt Pride was corrupt, but I just didn't want to hear it. This fight alone shows how shady it got. Reminds me of WWE, only it isn't supposed to be scripted.

@trsisko watch the fight kiddo, not the gif....and inform yourself on what actually went down here....special rules made it a one 15 minute round fight. Because Saku couldn't win, judges declared it a draw and Pride officials decided to change the rules and pull in an overtime.
