Okay I have to step in with my 2 cents, I'm an EMT and I have tell you the FIRST THING YOU SHOULD DO IF YOUR BABY IF CHOKING IS CALL 911! It does not matter if you get the baby breathing again with one back slap you still need to get 911 on the phone, if you baby is choking for longer then 30 seconds and getting no breaths in or out your going to have a serious problem, Also when you turn the baby over to slap the back, put the baby in a downward direction with the head facing downward.
