The original Karmacoma on the massive attack album was sung by Tricky and 3D.
There is another version of the song on Tricky's album with Tricky and a female singer(Martine).
The connection betwee Portishead and MA are Geoff Barrow who was involved in the Blue Lines album and straight afterwards he set off with Portishead and their first album. Most of the bristolian artists have done work for one another in the past.
Portishead never did a remix for this song. Portishead never did a project with Massive Attack except a live show. Another false info spread by File sharing.
i didnt like that much this live version.. it is pretty much the samen one that they played in mexico city where i was at that time.. i think Horace Andy sang on karmacoma as well i dont remember well.. i do prefer the portishead remix or the jools holland version.. but congrats for having the chance to watch this excellent band live aswell.
