The Pink Donut - CHA 2009: Copic Demo 1

Marianne Walker from Copic is showing us all the great things you can do with their great Markers. The amazing thing about Copic Markers is that you can draw in different colours, then go over them with another colour and blend both colours to get a true aquarel-kind of effect. It's brilliant, easy and great looking. Also the markers have a few other tricks up their sleeves. Wonder what that is? Check out the video.

Read my message below. Also they have a variety of different types of markers. If you're like me a few years back, and don't have a lot of money to spend on them. Simply get the ciao series. They're a couple bucks cheaper but don't come in as many colors ^^

They're just about the same price as prisma markers. So they're really not that expensive if you think about it. Also even though tthey're a little more expensive they're more worth it because of the refills. You can buy one and it's good to use up to about 12 times ^^

I love Copic Markers (specifically the Sketch markers). :)

I'm told they were designed by Japanese artists as opposed to just some old engineer. It makes a difference if something is designed by someone who actually uses a given product.

You are right, you can airbrush, refill, replace tips and blend seamlessly with about 320 colors. Making them much less expensive than they may appear.

Copic markers ROCK!! In my area, we can only get Copic markers at the professional art stores (there are only about 3 in the metro area that carry Copics). To me, that makes it obvious that they are of professional grade! I'm a marker person, lol.
