6 years later, Zidane still was red-carded and France still lost. All because he couldn't use the name-calling as incentive to win rather than trying to act like a tough guy. Also, Materazzi didn't even touch the French player in the box, so Zidane's penalty kick was for a dive. This is an example of a legendary player doing something incredibly stupid to end his career.
