  • Why so much smoke? My great uncle, a fireman who later becamengineer of a huge 4-8-4, would scold the fireman for such waste.

Hate steamboat whistle. Th.is much better.

  • @Espee9180 The owner of the Hancock (steamboat) whistle took it back, so WMSR doesn't even have it anymore.

  • The B&O 6 chime sounded rough at the start of the season, but by the fall / winter, some adjustments were made to it and it really sounds GREAT!

  • The whistle is my original B&O 6 chime. When the locomotive was supposed to go to Petersburg, WV for the festival, and operate on B&O rails, I asked the WM Scenic if they would like to use a B&O whistle. I loaned them my original B&O 6 chime as well as the 3 chime. Please continue to support the railroad with your paid ridership or donations. Great video!

  • It's a Baltimore & Ohio 6-chime

  • I still like the old Hancock 3 chime. Its what I remember from when I was a kid.

  • This whistle is so much better then the (what I call) Steamboat Whistle #734 usually has on. Nice video. Gotta get over there one day.

  • Interesting new whistle 734 has on.
