@Jack1997LAN I'm prolly the last guy you want helping with the controller software. Out of all 5000 hours I'v had on Vatsim, less than 300 hours has been as ATC :P - If you are controlling in Australia, it up the vatpac dot org forums. If elsewhere then prolly the vatsim dot net forums. There's guys up there that are way more experienced than I am with the software.

nice video!

No, its not.
It can get pretty tough and crazy some times, and yes, a bit stressful.. but its just a game.

Great job, I'm working on S1 rating at Detroit, anyone who just flies on vatsim but is interested in controlling needs to start, it's alot of fun.

In SB options swich the voice output to a 'wav'. Makes a huge difference to stuttering.
Dum vatsim! i logged onto to be a controller with all the sector files, the setting and such! But when i log on as a tower or ground or anything, it says its not connected in when i connect it! Basically if i wann be tower or ground and connect it,it disconnects me! any ideas?

@gryffindorhouse122 At a wild guess you havn't been Controller rated? If you have, ask your last mentor Instructor or the forums if it's a technical problem. If you havn't been controller rated yet you may only have authorization to log in as an Observer (or pilot flying). If that's the case, contact the region you want to control in and they should give you instructions on your obs hours and arrange the test(s) you take to get the controller rating.

Hey mate. Great video!! I control around Liverpool and Manchester area, and i heard its against the rules to record Vatsim sessions, is that true? Im thinking of making a vid ;)

absolutley not true. it's a game/hobby afterall. It's against the rules (law) to record ATC (like real live broadcasts of real aircraft and ATC with real physical objects moving in the sky) in Great Britain (not in USA or Australia, it's a War Legacy law apparently in England) but Vatsim isn't a real broadcast regarding the security of real actual aircraft, so the law wouldn't apply in the hobby/internet case.
