  • Hey man great video! i was wondering if you could tell me how to set that up ive downloaded the tuning software etc and ive managed to send it and on my phatty it says its being received but im noticing nothing, any idea what the issue is?

would be great if you could help! :)

  • @ollie633 Many of the scales that come with the tuning software are very, very subtle different than equal temperament. If you just play the Phatty monophonically, it's hard to hear. Husayni, the scale in this video is the one that is most noticeably different. Give it try.

  • Hello

Would you help with tuning in particular Arabic scale?

Could you write down cents that alternate each note within an octave?

  • @Woozya in this example, I am playing in E. I tuned F sharp and C sharp 50 cents flat. If you were just watching the keyboard, it would look like I was playing an E Dorian mode. For MUCH more information on Arabic scales, check out this book... The Music of the Arabs by Habib Hassan Touma. Also check out Music and the Power of Sound by Alain Daniélou.

  • Splendid wedding of classical music of East and the Little Phatty. How did you manage to tune the instrument to this scale ? The sound colour is also absolutely of beautiful oriental flute taste ! Congratulations !

  • @RADIOKLOW Thank you for your kind words!

I have a beta version operating system on my Little Phatty. This ability will be widely available for the LP soon. It is already in place on the Slim Phatty.
