I always wanted to play cowboy, I did play Sam once though, lot's of fun.

@CarloAltomare this is excellent! Ive only just become fascinated with this husband and wife duo. Its just too bad I got to know about Julian Beck only as Reverend Kane, and to discover the master behind the character as being so much more, only after his demise! Thanks for posting! you have a new subscriber!

Its too bad this isn't out on DVD. The Living Theater was a pretty big deal. Apparently when it opened in LA, Jim Morrison went and watched every performance.

Thank You Carlo !

This is a precious piece! Documents about J. Malina, J. Beck, the Living Theatre they both founded, and which influenced so much that period, are so rare...
Personally i'm looking for such documents. Please let me tell know where i can find those.

Thank you!
This clip was taken from Signals Through The Flames, (by Sheldon Rochlin and Maxine Harris), probably the best doc on The Living Theatre. It contains a number of other interviews with Julian and Judith plus lots of footage of their work up to about 1980. It should be available from Mystic Fire Video. (Though it looks like their website is not functioning...) I did the music for this film.
