This was from a vocal workshop at the Strawberry Music Festival. Probably late 1980s or early 1990s. It was given to me by a friend so I don't know the exact date. John is peforming the workshop with bass singer Dan Wheetman.

  • Absolutely Excellent, John Cowan is The Man. Nice one for posting.

  • @flyingcougar Yea, I stumbled on him at a festival in the 80s after seeing him and Newgrass Revival on Austin City Limits. I couldn't believe his voice when I saw the ACL performance but seeing him in person during those days (several times) just "did it" for me. As odd as it may sound--among the so many vocalists in the world--JC is my favorite. Don't miss his other performances on several of the other posting here. Thanks for watching.
