Fieldy is the Grammy® Award winning bassist for KoRn. His massive dropped-down sound and unrivaled technique has woofers rattling
car windows around the world.
In his IMV "Behind the Player" DVD, Fieldy gives an intimate behind-the scenes look at his life as a professional musician including rare photos and video footage.

Fieldy then gives in-depth lessons for how to play "Freak on a Leash" and "Got the Life" by Korn on bass and jams the tracks with Janes Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins.

VIDEO TAB shows exactly how Fieldy plays the two tracks. The video-game-style animated tablature is similar to GuitarHero(™), but shows how to play the tracks for real.

Get your copy at Guitar Center or www.behindtheplayer.com

Other IMV "Behind the Player" titles include: KoRn guitarist Munky; Rob Zombie guitarits John 5; Atreyu guitarist Dan Jacobs; Tim Skold, former guitarist and bassist for Marilyn Manson; Velvet Revolver bassist Duff McKagan; Alice in Chains bassist Mike Inez; KoRn bassist Fieldy; Slipknot bassist Paul Gray; Ozzie Osbourne bassist Blasko; Godsmack bassist Robbie Merrill; Rob Zombie drummer Tommy Clufetos; Jane's Addiction and Porno for Pyros drummer Stephen Perkins; Godsmack drummer Shannon Larkin; and guitar legend George Lynch

The producers of the IMV series donate $.25 from the sale of each DVD to Little Kids Rock (www.littlekidsrock.org), an organization that gets instruments in the hands of underprivileged kids.

  • Idgaf what they say about this bassist. KoRn has some of the sickest grooves I've ever heard. They really amp up the energy at parties I throw so fuck all you damn thumb suckers. With that said, Fieldy, I hope to slap like a beast as you do some day. Keep it real

  • I love Fieldy for one reason. Besides the fact that he has a really good technique and ability, he gives Korn it's distinctive style. You can recognize it's a Korn song just by listening the bass. And you can hear clear and loud every single note he plays. Not too many bands have that atribute.

  • That is one of the most annoying snares i have ever heard. :P

  • @ejpollo1 he's heard in the whole cd!! I was amazed too, but jon said all the weird synth bass in all the songs is atually fieldy playing with an effect or something, so yeah you can clearly hear him in the whole album but not in this styile, which is of course the best.

  • I need to get that Munky DVD. I got a seven string guitar for Christmas and I honestly have no fucking clue what I'm doing lol.

  • i love the new korn cd but im realy sad about fieldy not being heard in it :(
