@flamesword300 Btw I like seinens like Berserk more than shounen's like One Piece or Naruto cause - in shounens everything is black and white - heroes who deosn't look human with redicilous morals (Luffy, Naruto) and always doing the "good" thing. While in seinens every person is more human - good/bad at the same time. Griffith is not "bad" character - just human. Gats is not a "good" man either - sacrificing the lives of entire villige just to kill 1 man, kiling children and etc.

@flamesword300 After that can you imagine what he has been through this1 year? Tortured everyday, his tongue cut, his leg and arm muscles, his skin torn off - no weak human can endure this that long. Then he finds himself in a position to not be able to do anything, but have people care for him like a baby - what would that situation do to persons mind? Furthermore he sacrificed the Hawks cause they were tool for him to achieve his goal - they knew that and still followed.

@flamesword300 I don't think you have watched or read carefuly :). Griffith is probably the character most close to human nature in Berserk. He doesn't sacrifice to get stronger, but to achieve his dream. But if you watch carefully you will see that all the time he sees everyone around him as nothing more than a stepping stone, except Gats who is the only friend he had. But in Griffith's mind Gats betrays him by leaving and then his dream comes crashing down.

grifith is a douchebag sacrificing the hawks to get stronger,its corrupt not because he wanted to get that strong but fucked over everyone he knew besides guts and casca to get it idc wat u say grifith is a weak,spineless pussy who couldnt become strong on his own,guts went thorugh hell and came out a man on his own to feet

my bro and I have had some epic sync ups between songs and the manga, for ex when griffith got caught by the guards after having sex with the princess we were listening to "The Pass" by Rush and as soon as we got to that page we reached the part of the song where the instruments cut out and all you have is Geddy singing

"My God what have you done!?"
