A video of Bicycle Riding in Seattle Washington inspired by the movie 'A Different Path' A 10 mile ride through Ballard Washington and Myrtle Edward's Park with stops at JRA bike shop, Olympic Sculpture Park and Pioneer Square.
In years past, we’ve seen 20,000+ cyclists take to the streets for Bike to Work Day in the Puget Sound area.
The average bike commute trip participants are making is 14.53 miles. If 20,000 cyclists drove those trips instead of riding their bikes tomorrow, they’d be responsible for emitting more than 290,000 pounds of CO2 emissions!
This is great...bicycle to work day. But what we need is bicycle to work week, or month, or year. I am happy to see a bicycle shop in this video that mentions "commuter bicycles." We need more shops like this, and not just racing bicycles. Oh, how about a single bicycle advertisement anywhere. I guess they wouldn't go with all waves of images everyone is forced to see advertising SUV's. Thank you for posting.
