  • wordwarriormom@ You are absolutely amazing. Waiting for Gods best and keeping yourself pure, holy and obedient before he is brougt to you and while the two of you are getting to know each other is Gods way. I hope one day I am blessed to see a weeding such as the one you saw. God Bless.

  • (Part 2)

So, while you speak so eloquently of the futility of perfection, you praise parents for presenting a daughter who is perfect in mind, spirit, and body- an image of perfection.

"It makes it very difficult to go to any other kind of wedding."

    How sad for you.

The beauty remains in the covenant of a Christian marriage- not in what it took to get there. The covenant is just as beautiful whether or not the bride or groom has had a romantic past.

  • (Part 1)

Your talk on God being perfect but not a perfectionist was so beautiful and true- a REALLY wel written speech- which is why this talk confuses me.

The truth is, the father doesn't KNOW what is in the girl's mind and spirit. There were surely times she imagines kissing, even going further, with a man. And scripture says the sins of the mind are equal to the sins of the flesh.

  • interfaith marriage is bad??? just wanna know.. wt u said was so true n beautiful.. i feel so guilty

  • You manage to encapsulate what is so disastrous, dangerous, and futile about religious zealotry and bigotry, in just two minutes and nineteen seconds. Thank you!

  • so what you are saying is that the woman who got married was a virgin and that's great, but I'm sure you would agree that it does not make you virtuos and there are those who, in the trials and tribulations in life, realize that idealizing the sanctitiy marriage can be a dissapointment

  • Beautiful!!
