"Die erwachende Germania"

Germania, die Personifikation Deutschlands, erwacht und greift nach der vor ihr liegenden Kaiserkrone und dem Reichsschwert. Zwei Genien bringen ihr das Recht (Schwert und Waage als Attribute der Justitia) und die schwarz-rot-goldene Fahne als Zeichen der nationalen Einheit. Links in Hintergrund versinkt mit den Dämonen der Knechtschaft und der Zwietracht die alte Zeit in Finsternis.

Nationale Einheit, liberale Freiheiten und Rechtsstaatlichkeit sind die Forderungen, die in dem bekannten Revolutionslied von Heinrich Hoffmann von Fallersleben erhoben werden.

Germania, the personification of Germany awakened, and reaches for the imperial crown infront of her and the imperial sword. Two geniuses to bring her the right (sword and scales as attributes of Justice) and the black-red-gold flag as a symbol of national unity. To the left in the background slavery and darkness is sinking with the demons oand the strife of the old days.

This also counts for the USA and the rest of the World!
