Am I the only one who thinks that Pikmin could possibly take place on Earth and Olimar, the Pikmin, ect. are all microscopic?

do u know what i never got? How come all the parts were in good condition and not attacked by the creatures. Also, where did all the onions go. Wouldn't they have failed to get above the atmosphere of earth? Then again, its a planet of flower people and mutant bugs. Ah. Nintendo, delivering acid trips that are awesome

in the end olimar teaches the pikmin that there not so helpless and the pikmin taught olimar to work as a team and there strength in numbers and now the pikmin are the hunters at night
