What are you talking about? All members have to be approved by the governer or the legislature. The board is not going to approve goofy restrictions like the one illustrated here.
"the board FOR FACT wants RFID tagging of chicken"
And how the hell do you know that? The board doesn't even exist yet. Think before you declare something a fact.

Okay Peta, you really think they're going to be happier? It will be like animals running in the wild and that's not a high survival rate. It will be survival of the fittest and may the biggest and strongest animals win (they will). They will get sick from pesticides and other plants that they shouldn't eat. Heck a lot of turkeys drown if it rains if they're outside because they aren't smart enough.

The weather conditions will make the livestock die in cold and bad weather conditions. For God's sake we have heaters in our hog barns, cattle barns, and chicken houses. They always have food through morning and night right in front of them, they don't even have to look for food. The confinement (inside closed up) buildings allow proper air ventillation with fans running to keep fresh air running through curtains in the barns.

PETA and HSUS have no clue what they're talking about and I'm so frustrated that if they get enough money and get powerful enough they will send agriculture out of the United States.

Millions of jobs in Ohio involve agriculture but the cities have no idea. They think their meat comes from the store and freak out when they find out that animals are killed to get the meat to feed the world. They also don't understand how humane and how much pride we take in our work. I just hope one person reads this that has no idea of the situation and somehow I can make a difference. Thank you for your time.

Hmm...death panels were a bizarre distortion that had nothing to do with the health care legislation...this film dramatizes the real issue of this proposed amendment- what can potentially happen when you give unchecked power to an appointed government body and then make that permanent in the state constitution.... there is great potential for abuse with no opportunity for recourse for farmers, consumers, or businesses...

This video is a bizarre distortion that has nothing to do with the actual intent of the Care Board or its accompanying legislation.

If anything, the board would someday PROTECT these chickens from out-of-state animal rights activists who are morally opposed to raising animals for food and would hope to legislatively protect THESE POOR CHICKENS FORCED TO LIVE OUTSIDE IN A CAGE ALL DAY PECKING AT THE GROUND LIKE ANIMALS.

the board FOR FACT wants RFID tagging of chicken. which a small co-op like this could not afford adding $5-$10 a chicken(chickens cost about $1.50 now) this would make raising them cost prohibitve for even a home owner to raise .
