  • making another state would be too much work. what would people need their license changed to the State of South California? like no. it's too complicated in a time like this. how about we focus on America as a whole and then we can focus on people wanting to make a state for no damn reason other than nobody agrees with their conservative ideas so they want their own state. BOOHOO bitch!

  • @Iterif1 I can see that you are afraid of work but I and all other freedom loving people are not afraid of hard work. Good luck with your chosen path.

  • You know, I personally don't advocate secession, BUT...I also DO NOT advocate taking from a producer and giving it to a non-producer, and that's what our politicians have figured out...the buying of votes! I saw a response, who right off the bat screamed race. Race isn't the issue by any means. It's about our freedom. But the liberals scream race. Our neighbor is from Poland. He harps daily about living in a socialist state...ended up...no food, not even milk for your children. Wake up!

  • @DubandDebs I agree secession is not my first thought either but when you live in a state where the will of the electorate is thrown out by a single rogue judge and the state is strong armed by LA and San Francisco it is time to do something about it. I don't see it happening though. It's more likely the producers will continue to leave to more livable states.

  • Their own 1800s world? They just want to keep what they earn and stop supporting the corrupt parasites who are killing them. It's simply a matter of "I don't want to play with you, so I'm taking my toys and going home."

Good for them! When the socialists don't have anyone else's money to spend, maybe they will stop being so wasteful.

  • @feote911 Why would you force race into this issue? It is all about being disenfranchised, LA and San Francisco hold the rest of the state hostage. The rest of the state can vote one way but if LA & SF vote the other way they win every time. It's about wanting to have a say in how they are governed. Are you sure you are not accusing people of something with witch you have guilt?

  • @PilgrimLad IF, there was secession, within 10 years, they'd (the left) be beggin to be allowed in. Why...NO income. My opinion?? Nope, just take a quick peek throughout history. Socialism NEVER works, not for the people anyway. But boy, oh boy...the leaders sure live "high on the hog."

Sadly too many on both sides of the aisle (our elected leaders) are now in it for THEM. Their power, their greed, their betterment...

  • @PilgrimLad yes but then you have to change the history books, your have to change the flag, and etc, money that government doesn't have.

  • @gato123452 The new state would be Conservative, there is no question about that. The counties in the proposed state are agricultural based and the north would be on the losing end of the secession. The new state would be deregulated and able to grow more food (that is if they can get the water). Water IS and will be the weapon used to take control and power over the state(s). South Cali could cut off the water to LA and North Cali could cut off some sources of water to South Cali.

  • @PilgrimLad but Southern California will be a Conservative one, you should that the guy who wants Southern California to happen is a Republican Extremist. He doesn't just want better voting but he wants southern California to be like Texas. this will not happen too because the nation will have to support another state, also Southern California doesn't have a good capital since LA will be part of the north.

  • @Urdalibertine why don't you just go to mexico. they have a vote there. maybe that would work better for you.

  • Oh--- what happened? I thought it was about voting for the u.s. to get rid of California...but now it seems about their North and south splitting. If they did so legally, then that would set a precedent for other american communities to find self-determination, the way they have done in so many other democratic countries aroudn the world, like israel and so on. Independence could actually happen for u.s. communities.
