Tribute Montage to Mr. Frankie Cheah (HQ)

This music montage tribute is long overdue to Mr. Frankie Cheah, a 70's Malaysian singer, who is still contributing to the music industry in this region. Many of us may not have heard of him in recent years but certainly have not forgotten his songs. Here's an insight of his present life courtesy of Ai Lin, the Woman in Frankie's Life.

Thank you Keith for a fitting tribute to a wonderful performer and, more importantly, to a gentleman and a good friend. Frankie and I were housemates in the early 70s when I was a US Peace Corps volunteer teaching in Johor Bahru. I'm honored and delighted that Frankie and Ai Lin, my wife and I have managed to keep our friendship going over the decades, including having a wonderful reunion at his daughter's wedding. Thanks for rekindling the memories.

Good job Keith. I was barely 15 when my parents bought Frankie Cheah's first album. There was this fast number that I kept repeating it on his LP records. Forgotten its title though. And one day I broke the player's needle. So, for me, Frankie Cheah's, Cliff Richard, Beetles and Bad Company's hits were my 'coolest stuffs' then. Cheerio...
