CGI thomas:CGI DONALD AND DOUGLAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is crap, someone at HIT should die for suggesting CGI and the rest of them should die for going along with it. The classic was so much better.

You're right, but what can we do? It's not as if we can write to them saying how much we loathe seasons 12 and so on no matter how many fans pitch in. Seasons 1-4 were my absolute favorite, 5 was okay, but since season 6, the themes of the episodes focused less on trains and railways, but more on sharing, caring, patience, etc. They at least didn't have to change Diesel; in the old series, he was the main villain and antagonist of the other engines, now he's become a giant softee! >: (

Well he did become nice in the Christopher Awdry book Thomas and the evil Diesel.

@ghfdfhfdndxhcg What they could have done is kept the old models and added animation to them, but I must admit, it is cool seeing that they can move their mouths and change their expressions.
But the background and the outline, it looks like one of those creator programmes - like RC10 or something.
I don't like that Diesel is now a softie smoothie. Since when did he ever become one of the other engines?
He's a villain! That's the whole point.

But other than that, I don;t like it being full CGI because it just doesn't look realistic.
The trees and everything were made out of real material in the original. Here they are just graphics put together.

I can't stand HIT because they ruined Fireman Sam and Noddy and other classic shows, so Thomas should have gone to the BBC after Britt Allcroft left.
If the BBC had Thomas now, I bet they would have kept the models but just made them look a bit different.

I used to watch Thomas & friends when I was younger. I'm a fan of the George Carlin & Ringo Starr seasons. For me this is just too high tech. I liked it better when they were toys & not computer generated.

classic thomas is good.......but CGI is cool.....its becoming more of a cartoon.......classic was based on real engines........either way there still both good

everbody stop theres nothing wrong with cgi and arent you guys happy that duck,oliver,toad,stepney,DONAL D AND DOUGLAS are back and hit some good
episodes and arent you happy that they still have thomas? I like every season of thomas theres nothing wrong with the newer epsiodes

They barley use Donald and Douglas anymore
