Agree with U Scoprion. Also people forget that the Lakers basically pissed away that 1984 series blowing Game 2 in Boston. Should have won that series also. Then the 1989 series, the whole starting backcourt got hurt. Lakers probably should have won 7 in 8 years.

The Chicago Bulls played in a watered down era, the 90s. Put the Bulls of the 90s in the 80s and the have no chance of even winning half of what the Lakers accomplisheds... PERIOD!!

@scorpionJB the LAKERS were the greatest team ever over a decade stretch because they appeared in 8....EIGHT nba finals, and won five, lost 3, they lost one to the boston celtics who went 62-20 in 84, the philly 76'er team who went 65=17 and the detroit pistons in 89 who went 63-19, so when the LAKERS did lose the finals, they did so to some of the greatest teams ever assembled..

@scorpionJB how could they have been the greatest team over a ten year stretch when the bulls won 6 titles and before that they had made it to two easter conference finals games and have the greatest all time record in a season with 72 wins. The Chicago Bulls. Period!!!
