Let them eat cake.

This is just more of the GOP's "anything Obama says is wrong and bad for the country and he is a Muslim and we would be better off if we cut taxes, drilled more and kept GITMO open."
Do they realize how stupid they sound? opposing Obama in EVERYTHING with the disdain they show is imbecilic, looks racist, and does not help anyone.
Maybe they want the churches to tithe us and use the money in charity hospitals. It worked 500 years ago.

@Cokie907 I suppose you wouldn't accept your social security or medicare benefits then...right? Quit watching fox news, and try to think for yourself. What put this country where it is, is corporate greed, and their basically destroying the middle class. They buy themselves a network to feed you bull shit to keep your eyes away from what's really going on, and you buy it...hook line and sinker. Honestly, how much of your life do corporations own? Your home, car, information you get?

Zach Wamp....loves jesus, hates people who can't afford health care. Someone needs to remind this Jack Wagon, that jesus (his hero, personal lord and savior who all should emulate in his opinion,) was a LIBERAL Jew. When will people realize, that health care IS a right! Right now 60% of our country is overweight by 20 or more pounds, diabetes is at an all time high. Sooner or later, it will affect you. Then you will wish someone thought your health was a right, not a privilege.

Wow! Zach Wamp was so right. ObamaCare is turning out to B a disaster and will result in the downfall of this nation. Our dollar is losing value in precipitous fashion, our unemployment is stuck at 10 percent and millions of people are being kicked off of employer provided healthcare plans. We are doomed.
I don't think it's possible to forgive the ignorant assholes who've destroyed this country by electing statists, socialists and outright Marxists who have pissed all over our Constitution.

every single politician out there says things they don't live up too. its stupid to focus on things like you are saying which have nothing to do with the real issues. i obviously disagree with you politically but i think its a shame everyone from every party focuses their attention on small issues/ statements like the ones you listed. in the long run they have nothing to do with healthcare.

MSNBC is poo.

I'm one of those who chose not to have health care so I can afford college (Dean's List), the obamacare is going to crucify me financially. Guess the administration has decided I should be a HEALTHY fry cook for the rest of my life. So much for the American dream.

AMSTERDAMVALLON: you didn't listen to him answer the question. my 2nd grader could explain it to you after listening to his clear answer.

Zach destroyed this Obama drone.

Tamron is my favorite journalist.
DAP - I didn't know that Wamp was the guy the GOP held the vote open so long for and pressured into switching his vote. That's interesting. - And now the grinning fool is trying to keep more Americans from having health care.

im4wur, the Prescription Drug Bill, that you refer to, was steered through congress by Rep. Billy Tauzin (R-LA) and passed two months before he left Congress. On January 3, 2005, the same day he left Congress, Tauzin began work as the head of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, or PhRMA, a powerful trade group for pharmaceutical companies. Tauzin had been given a waiver to negotiate for this position by the Republican led Ethics Committee while holding public office.

I got to meet ZW this year and he is a real genuine candidate. He just believes that if you earn it...you keep it. You dont earn it...dont get it.

74horseman: I suggest you spend some time looking at his voting record rather than coming to an opinion from meeting the guy. Wamp flip-flopped on his campaign promise to term limit himself and he flip-flopped on the Prescription Drug Bill Act during the voting: first he voted "Nay" and then several hours later voted "Yea". Read the (more info) mini-bio.

1 star for Wamp, 5 for you posting this... hopefully, the Republicans will continue to become increasingly irrelevant... this sort of extremism will definitely cause that to happen

Thanks! The real kudos should go to Tamron Hall for calling Wamp out. I would hope that every Tennesseean think real hard when it comes time to elect their next Governor as this berk announced his candidacy earlier this year.
