@FourDollaRacing Cynicism aside...The American Model Yachting Association races a Nirvana class; so, any previous problems with this ship are simply operator error!

I have no clue what I'm seeing, are they supposed to heel that far

Don't even talk about the Victor boats . I have one and it has been nothing but grief for me since I bought it. The boats are fragile and hole easily and the keel splits easily. The hatch is not water tight. and the price is high if you want it built.

The only drawback with these sailboats is the sail servo that pulls in the sheets is too weak. A servo upgrade is the only logical solution. Otherwise, when tuned, they have very little weather helm. Fun boats for the price.
The favorites are my Victor's, tho. The Tahoe ll and the V32 are in the water more than my others.

I want one :D its cool that it actullly can sail
Whoa Whoa Whoa EZ guys. The boats not that bad. In her Price Range as a RTR she'll beat the snot outta a box built Victoria. Truth is mine will sail a nice beam reach clear until it's almost out of sight. If the rig is balanced correctly almost no rudder input is needed. I've sailed 14'-28' boats in competitive racing. And had 2 previous RC sailboats by Kyosho and Dumas. This boat is pretty good and cost the same or less than both of the them. Granted the stock radio gear is crap.

If you want to get a good inxpensive starter boat that you will love to sail for many years, buy any of the Victor boats. They require a little more building prowess, but you won't be dissappointed in the performance. However, you will need to buy your own electronics. Also, make sure you set the boat up right--there is nothing worse than having a poor sailing boat due to lack of basic sailing knowledge and incorrect setup,etc..
