Pinsetting In McMurdo

I don't know if some of you remember that last year I pinset at the prestigious McMurdo Bowling Alley. Well, I never really showed you how that worked. So I recorded Mykle and Richard pinsetting a few nights back when I went cosmic bowling.

Very cool, I'd love to try it myself! I work on Bowling machines, but have never set by hand. Do you sit on something while they are bowling?

I'm sorry, but I would hate that job. I love bowling to death but I cant sit there and re-rack people's pins.

I set pins there in the winter of '83. We just had the plain pins though and no fog machine. The rest looks the same though.  It was good exercise.

we have thoose black light pins but we only use them for special occasions

whoa is this that old bowling alley that still does hand set pins? and if i am correct the #1 rule is:If u see legs, Don't Bowl!

I remember setting pins using a similar (if not identical) setup in New Effington, SD back in 1974. They may have been Brunswick-Balke-Collender "B-2"'s or something like that. No fun at all being hit by a flying pin, either!
