Debate means presenting intelligent arguments. Leaning on authorities or gods is demagogical. To ruin a functional object is against common sense, and IS stupid... well artists sometimes use it as (very!) cheap trick to gain sheeple's attention... and seems in many cases they succeed.... sheeple "needs" entertainment their vegetable brain is able to understand :)
