i heard that he used lipstick pickups but in a humbucker case ..that was half full of coke and that he had a tube from it to his snoz ... he used to tell people it was a "nosebox' ...like a talk box - but played with the nose . Could just be a rumour though.

The drugs only allow the musicians to shut off the mind in an already insane society...thats why the best writers , artists, and nusic are usually made under the influence, it allows the mind to get in tune w the moment...its not the drugs , but what they allow the mind to do...
