Summer of 69 pt.2
Some say the most historical event in rock n' roll history. Four weeks after we walked on the moon we were walking to Max Yasgur's farm.

I was there too Guild and it was the best 3 days of my life!! I wish I could turn the clock back but unfortunately we can't! The kids today don't know what real music is. The 60's and 70's was when music was best and songs had meaning. The music today is just NOISE! LOL

  • GB man - I Love You....

  • 1969 was a very good year because of Woodstock, but also a very bad year because of the insane idiot like Charles Manson and his crazy followers.

  • What i think is special with this Woodstock 1969 is not only the music, but the touch it has when you see the video, its like being there yourself. When im in bad mood, i put the dvd on and after a while when my thoughts just has been in free imagination for a while, i feel normally good again.

  • it just circulated throught the hipster communitys and by Thursday everyone was heading there. We parked in Bethel about 3 miles from the actula sight and we got there Friday around 7AM a rush at first lots of people everybody selling STUFF, most of the bad trips were from kids eating th electrified watremelon and water that was being giving out and thy did not know it wa elctric. Despite the mud and the stink and the lackof foo and water it was special, could never be doen again, to much hate!

  • They got kicked out of Wallkill and moved to Bethel.

  • I thought woodstock was in Wallkill, not Bethel.

  • Nice piece. Thanks bro! Enjoyed it

  • GUILD - I am watching a documentary on the History Channel regarding Woodstock. Do you still have your ticket stubs? And did you get there early enough to avoid horrible traffic.

This is such a wonderful opportunity to converse with someone who was there.

  • yes it did
