Unboxing my new grill. I've been experimenting with BBQing since the 4th of July that's just passed (vids of that to come). I'm happy to have the confidence now to finally do this on a non-disposable grill. I really just needed something that was small and that could stow away easily in my small dorm room. That's what I liked the most about the design of this Weber Charcoal Grill. It's compact and indiscreet, capable of folding it handsomely into a toolbox like look that easy to stash away into a cabinet or under a desk.

I can't wait to try it out!

  • dude you need a tripod

  • @superorgasm Three words: quadpod.

  • where's the review - would like to see it put together and then folded up - and what does it cook like?

  • Hey Wannabyourhero,

I've been caught up with school work but definitely have the clips to show this grill in action. If it saves some time, I'll tell you right now that it's a fantastic BBQing machine that has some minor quirks. I'm not into rating with numbers or stars, but if you were considering purchasing this over the Joe Silver or Gold versions, I'd recommend it.

  • thanks for your reply. I went and bought one today came home and tried it out. Here in UK Weber are something of a premium brand and it is much better quality than anything I've bought before so can see it lasting. I fancied the lid so things can get a bit of a smokey flavour. For my first effort bought some of Charles organic rump, that's Charles as in son of Queen heir to throne. It tasted great, really authentic bbq flavour so very happy with my purchase,

  • Lol, I love food talk. First thing I threw on it was some 3 inch sirloin steak. I like my steak as rare as possible but wasn't prepared for how quick this little grill can actually cook. Finished grilling by the time my steak was medium rare--and it was still good, but I'll be more careful next time since I"m still a novice when it comes to grilling. Beware when carrying it by the top handle, any slight brush by your leg can cause the whole grill to topple into pieces.
