"G-FORCE: GUARDIANS OF SPACE" IS A COPYRIGHT OF SANDY FRANK ENTERTAINMENT. UNDERLYING PROPERTY ("SCIENCE NINJA TEAM GATCHAMAN") IS A TRADEMARK AND COPYRIGHT OF TATSUNOKO PRODUCTION CO.,LTD. ALL OTHER TRADEMARKS, COPYRIGHTS & LICENSES HAVE BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED. NO INFRINGEMENT INTENDED.

Episode title: "The Robot Stegosaur"

Summary: A huge robot in the shape of a prehistoric monster raids and steals from a uranium storage facility, leaving the International Science Organization and it's delegates of various countries concerned and baffled as to the source of this destruction. Dr. Benjamin Brighthead, the only person to previously knew of this menace, steps up and officially anounces the existence of both the evil alien "Galactor", as well as the "G-Force" squadron formed to defend the earth from Galactor and his army of soldiers and robots.
-------------------------------
This is the very first episode of "G-Force: Guardians of Space" (1986), the second of three English dubs to Tatsunoko Productions' "Science Ninja Team Gatchaman" (1972), following "Battle of the Planets" (1978) and preceding ADV Film's uncut Gatchaman release (2005).

Episodes and footage for this dub are VERY hard to come by (in English), so enjoy the episode and let your voice be heard if you were or are a fan of "G-Force: Guardians of Space'. The more fans who speak out the closer we could get to an opportunity for a full series release on DVD! Also feel free to contribute any G-Force: GoS episodes or footage you may have!!!

  • Joe will always be epic. See 6:46. No but really, G force wasn't horrible in terms of editing and dub for the times. I just wish Sandy Frank et al left in and or licensed the original Gatchaman theme song as the opening for G-force.

  • @Sielo1ac The Gatchaman theme wouldn't have worked for the approach that Sandy Frank (Battle of the Planets) and Turner/Fred Ladd (G-Force) took towards their respective works. Sandy Frank tried to make BotP otherworldly and spacey in the vein of "Star Wars", hence the Hoyt Curtin theme. By the time "G-Force" was released in 1986, the '70's symphonic Gatchaman score sounded dated in the synth-heavy '80's, and Fred Ladd and co. were gonna remove all of it if not for budget concerns.

  • Hey?! Who's Aggie? And What happened to Ki-op's speech impediment?! Awe man I been waiting years to hear that again!

  • @Radiumscape Keyop's "speech impediment" RUINED what was originally a pre-teen brat character and a great foil to the rest of the main cast. One of the worst dubbing decisions of all time. If you wanna see that "Battle Of The Planets" dreck then go search for it in the search bar.

  • @SuperAdventures Or just be an elitist dick over a show for children. Battle of the Planets and Harmony Gold's ROBOTECH forever!

  • @shrizor Or not bother reading the video descriptions clearly explaining the differences, then whine about how its not the version they remember growing up with on comments, ad nauseum. That, above anything else, is my biggest gripe about these BotP fans.

Um, dude: You're wearing a fucking squid mask and bell bottoms. Pot, meet kettle.

  • @SuperAdventures I own copies of Gatchaman, Gatchaman 2, Gatchaman F, Battle of the Planets, Eagle Riders and G-Force and I've gotta be honest... Jinpei/Key-op/Peewee/Jimmy/Mickey is pretty inconsequential.

The series are all good for different reason, so why hate on BoTP? XD

  • @longliveoakenfold87 The first series I mean.

  • Never mind, guess this is a dub of the original Gatchaman anime

  • G-Force is the first English dub for Gatchaman II, right?

  • @dickliscious its a different version...i think its battle of the planets
