The Bedroomy series is an attempt by its creator to develop his ongoing solo improvisation practice. As many improvisers know, the entrance of an outside eye into an otherwise personal practice can have a dramatic effect on the nature of its output. A miserable insecurity can take hold. Ones sense of restraint (a sense in which one had always taken great pride when improvising alone in his bedroom) drifts away on the wind being blown by his reckless, flailing limbs. How am I doing?! Am I doing okay?!! he seems to be asking (although nobody can really be sure). By inviting the video camera (and thenceforth the general YouTube public) into his bedroom (studio), the creator hopes to become better acquainted with the presence of an outside eye; to begin to make peace with that longtime adversary, his own self-consciousness.
Any prompt here mentioned has provided an impetus for the days entry. Any music used has been selected in collaboration between Bedroomys creator and whoever at YouTube keeps track of the songs he is and is not allowed to use in the course of his practice.
That the Bedroomy series is part of a practice should be duly noted. Already, since its inception one week ago, this work has been referred to (in a variety of languages) as a pointless, masturbatory waste of time. Were Bedroomy intended to mark a more formal point than it does in its creators artistic process, he might take greater heed of such remarks. As it stands, he intends to expand upon the series, in the hope that it will continue to feed his research.

Music: WA Mozart, Symphony #25 in G minor, K123--Allegro con Brio.
Prompt:
"However, it is possible for an individual to engage in Open Form if he/she carries a dual positioning, say for example if the body is engaged in a movement process, and mind is on a richly unrelated journey. This may
occur through very well known physical process being accompanied by a mind function which in itself would lead to a different sort of physical experience."
