Savior Of The Earth trailer - Tron ripoff cartoon

This is a trailer of a Korean 1983 cartoon film which is almost a direct rip-off of Tron, it features a character sucked into a computer to play video games until he dies, enemies with pain sticks, a tank with a gun shaped like the one in Tron, flying discs, a baddie that looks like Sark along with a 'frisbee fight' to the death. No lightcycles but it does feature a really annoying little girl/robot which appears devoted to the main character, and gets right on your nerves...

Picture quality came out pretty good for such an old VHS tape.

Haha, I was wondering where the Tron ripoff segments from Space Thunder Kids came from.

I think the dubbing in Space Thunder Kids is actually BETTER than the job they did in this...although that's not saying much at all.

Still looks hilarious, especially the Pacman part...where did you get this movie?

@Metabadd, I got 2 VHS's of it from car boot sales many years ago, I've seen it once or twice on eBay UK but it's very rare now. This trailer is shown before the actual 'film' starts, I guess they wanted to warn you that you may end up gnawing bits of your body off by the end just to keep from losing the will to live.

Been meaning to digitise in the whole film one day, using both copies because some parts of each tape are bad.
