PRT in Masdar City

A trial run of the planned PRT in Masdar City, outside of Abu Dhabi - January 22, 2010. Electric cars comfortably seat 4 and are guided by magnets embedded in concrete. The vehicle sits at ground level with street level and building of the Masdar Institute situated 7 meters above. Cars with Lith-Ion batteries charge at the branching stations throughout Masdar City.
