  • is that relay plasma. i thought plasma was only in space. it the forth shizz next to liquid solids and gasses.

  • You are correct, it is the fourth state of matter, or "forth shizz", but its existence is not limited to outer space. Neon signs use electricity to ionize a variety of gases, not just neon. Plasma TVs, lightning, the auroras, cathode ray tubes and arc welders are all plasma or use plasma in some way.

  • Not what he meant I think. The states of elements and molecules are contributed to the levels of energy (ie heat) so a hotter a substance the different form its in. Since the microwave is just a photon (energy) (not visible) its making the electrons in the water of the grape real excited so it becomes plasma.

  • The gentleman asked one question and made two statements, which do you believe I misunderstood? Three simple sentences, is that really plasma, yes; plasma is only in space, wrong; plasma is the fourth state of matter, correct. Please explain the misunderstanding.

  • you forgot fire

  • please explain. Also please don't say that fire is a state of matter..... please don't.

  • @RoeeYeger sure, just make sure its still hot ok?

  • if i will do it and then eat the grape, will i shoot plasma balls from my ass?

  • fire is not plasma. fire is just burning air. plasma is much hotter.

  • @salamimommy I've heard and read that plasma is much more than just exited atoms, like neon sings, fire, LED's, ect. that they are so exited or hot that electrons de-attaches from the protons, making the material some kind of weird substance, the closest we can get to plasma are these microwave experiments and in labs, the rest is just shining hot gas. Please, correct me if I'm wrong. Answering the first question, in nature, it would only be in space and lightning, and in thechnology like this.

  • Why do grapes do this XD

  • @salamimommy fire is also plasma except the other one is more scientific

  • Thinking hard=/
