It is absolutely UNBELIEVABLE how much the Washington press carries water for the republican party.
Watching this press conference you'd think that Obama has been terribly mistreating the republicans and he's being unfair to them, based on the total butt-boy behavior of these reporters.

Notice how all of these press secretaries always sound like stuttering liars? This isn't because they're protecting the executive branch. That's what guys like Eric Holder are for.
Gibbs isn't protecting the president. He's protecting YOUR ILLUSIONS.
DC fell to organized crime and treason a long time ago. It's now owned and operated by the banks who own it and run our government through quasi governmental agencies like the UN and Council on Foreign Relations.
