Artist Dana Rogoschewsky's created this art piece over a course of 11 days, using the style of Mark Making with pen. 20 hours of drawing is condensed into a four minute Time Lapse Video set to music.

  • Great video! I'm curious how you accomplished the smooth look of the motion tracking shots.

  • i built a little dolly out of lego and we tried a bunch of ways to try to move it slowly. I didnt want to have to build a motor into it so i ended up just pushing the camera on the little dolly by hand. Its hard to keep it steady by hand, but it was the easiest way to do it. The one shot took over 20 minutes of slowing pushing it while Dana drew.

  • This project rocks. Very nice work. The editing is smooth. Did you build the camera mount? Love the angles & rewind and the end.

Is there anything you would change or do differently next time?

  • This was very cool to watch. I'm not an artist or have any kind of art background yet found it really creative! Luv Ya Work!

  • wow, this is fantastic. Love all the angles that you've used to shoot it. Its amazing when you do draw how you flip the paper, look from different views as you do it. The shooting of this adds that feel - like the work, love the creative video!
