小学校で使ってたリコーダーと同じですよね。同じ道具でこうまで 違うかと思いますね。

i prefer the piece with flutes instead of recorders, the recorders penetrate the music and makes it sound harsher. but thats my oppinion.

@jedikiller54321 Actually, I was trying figure what that is to my ears. Thanks for pointing it out. I totally agree, I'm listening to it on my laptop, it projects even more.

You must have heard rather bad flautists; a recorder-player normally will always sound gentler and less penetrating unless the flautist plays too weakly.

Yes, I have perfect pitch so it really messes me up.

Can someone please tell me what the instruments the 2 ladies are playing that look like clarinets are. Thanks!

They are actually called recorders (according to my score of the Piece). For anyone who wants it, its called @The new Anthology of Music.

...about "straight flutes" instead, since transverse would imply "sideways" like the (modern) flute, which was (sometimes still) called "flauto traverso", while the recorder was a "flauto diritto (straight)".

- Anyway, they are recorders, of course ;-)
