This is simple. To separate genuine asylum seekers from economic migrants or just plain crooks and spongers you need just add a block on benefits. No free housing, no welfare, NHS treatment outside of emergencies and basic schooling only for five years. Watch the numbers coming in plummet and with tighter checks on criminal records and large fines for employers using illegals the problem will fall away to virtually nothing. It won't happen because nobody has the stones to make the decision.

You can never stop immigration EVER! maybe they can effect there numbers but they won't stop immigration, and there numbers are not a reflection of reality.
What you going to do? say that if you get married that person can't stay in the UK? if you don't have a country (iraq war) you can't come to the UK? he's full of shit and there is nothing they can do that won't result in loosing some human rights.
