I am completely in the agreement that Gay Marriage should be legal. With that being said, I will vote for McDonnell because they are much the same on social issues. However, I do believe McDonnell will understand the economy more than Deeds.

Rod Blagoavich said something interesting on Howard Stern last week re: gay marriage. He said that for democrats, the only party who will really give gays the right, they cannot move fast on this issue. In other words, you need to nurture the issue and protect it (from dumb amendments to ban G marriage). That is, over time, gays can get married too.

I'm so voting for him. =]

Deeds is confused, but the voters will send him a clear message on 11/3.
Today's Wash. Post poll has McDonnell up 55% to 44%. It's over.

you are a moron. i have nothing more to say to you.

Deeds has had a speech problem since he was little. I feel bad for him because the GOP (Gay Old People) ,like Bob McDonnell, have made fun of him for it.

Despite popular belief, there are no consistent nonverbal cues associated with lying.
And when nonverbal cues have been identified after looking at thousands of liars and truth tellers - the findings cannot be applied to any individual.
Why? If deception is revealed, it usually happens through microexpressions - (google facial expression test).
Also, Deeds has a naturally "odd" manner about his speech and movement. It says nothing of his ability to govern.

There are many studies on people behavior. And no, Most of the time, when someone can look you dead in the eye without "twitching" ... they are telling you the truth. ((Professional Poker players excluded...) :) ... Deeds has been caught in several lies. But the main one I am concerned with is his position on taxes. The average working man out here trying to pay his bills and keep food on the table, can't afford MORE taxes on gas & utilities. My Lights, Gas & Water are high enough.

Here's what he said (to me): He isnt personally comfortable with the whole gay or gay marriage thing but he dosnt want to step on other people's lives because he thinks it's not governments role to control people's social lives.
Govt cant tell you to be Jewish or Christian or Atheist, but it can tell you who to marry? Isn't that ludicrous?
Why would the government even care? Why would a nosy neighbor care?
Don't you want people to just be free as long as they dont hurt others? Jeeez

So, if a person is looking to the left they tell the truth? That's the most ignorant thing I have read in a while.
I'm sorry, I only heard one position on gay marriage; he believes that marriage is between a man and a woman, but recognizes that that is his personal belief, and he shouldn't impose it on others, so a ballot measure would be the best course of action to pursue about civil marriage.

Deeds presented five different positions:
1.) The voters should have a say on the legality of gay marriage so he voted twice to put the gay marriage ban amendment on the ballot.
2.) Yet he campaigned against the amendment and claims to have voted against it.
3.) He believes that marriage should be between a man and a woman.
4.) He believes that everyone should have equal rights.
5.) But he wont give a firm answer on whether gay marriage is a civil right.
