im from england but i have to give maximumrespect to detroit you guys invented the original acid techno sound.I think theres a lot of paralells with detroit and manchester both once great industrial cities that went to shit in 70s 80s but the industrial machines inspired these futuristic sounds that came out of these cities .Both cities so soulful and full of old abandoned factorys mills and warehouses as well.Like twin cities to my mind
