I had the same surgery in 2004, when I was 16 years old. I like this video, it's interesting to see part of the surgical procedure being done. But when I saw Stefani wearing that green t-shirt I cringed hardcore... it must of hurt so badly to put that shirt on!! Man, you're tough.

Watching how brave Stefani was during this procedure has helped to calm me down a bit on my 14 yr olds upcoming operation. As a parent of one of these amazing children I can now keep my sights a little brighter. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for posting this ......its an inspiration my 12 year old will have 2 valves replaced in a few weeks. You kids that go through this are truly amazing.

hey! i really like this video u made.. bc im a 23 yr old girl who had open heart surgery on 2/25/10 ...to fix an anerysm n replace my aortic valve.... i find this reassuring n comforting to kno im not the only young girl who had to go thru this. thanks much :)
