Distance: 8 furlong (1 mile)
Surface: Dirt (Fast)
1st - William D. Jr
2nd - Full Breed
3rd - El Avion
The return of the champ...
William D. Junior had a lethargic start, where he settled in the second position until the home stretch the first time around, easing up on the inside and closed the gap. He graped the lead down the hill over his stablemate Full Breed. He maintain the lead easily from there on. He won handily.
Full Breed stablemate of William D. Jr. placed a well second. He had a sharp start of the other two horses. Full Breed led until it was graped from William D. down the hill, he could not contest with. He was able to maintain that second spot.
El Avion had a lackadaisical start, he stayed in the third position throughout and was smoked in the dust of the other two horses and was never a threat to either.
