@lduhlman very true! I have a friend who loves Jessye, and I ADORE Kiri. I think both are the best examples of Strauss's two soprano types...both have incredible lyricism and can handle the extremely long phrases! I love Jessye's dark dramatic voice, and of course Kiri's golden full lyric tone!

this is so great! This song can sound like a mismatch of notes thrown together if you're not exactly on pitch, clear and beautiful but of course Kiri is all three and more!
