this watercolour is it the usaual you use while drawing paintings on a paper? do you wait till it dries and then put on gel?

Yes I use regular watercolor paints for painting on canvases. Design should be dried completely, before you cover it with gel :)

Canvas - can be done with the help of paper or special material, it is used by artists as a painting surface, typically stretched across a wooden frame.
