A giant bluefin tuna fetched a record 32.49 million yen, or about $396,000, in the first auction of the year at the world's largest wholesale fish market in Tokyo. (Jan. 5)

@strikenetter Scientists state all global fisheries will collapse by 2048, meanwhile in the USA, scientists set quotas determining yearly poundage harvest which will be of sustainable proportion. See any contradiction? Who watching this video witholds the knowledge in regards to how fish populations are measured or estimated? In my 15 years of comm. fishing, ive seen maybe a dozen vessels sampling species. On this note, their methods are ludicrous only sampling for the implementation of laws.
