What really irks me about films like these is that they give the impression that by praying a prayer to an imaginary friend, all of your sins (even the brutal murder of another human being) can be wiped away and you can go skipping off into a blessed paradise with Jesus and all of his pals for eternity. Nowhere do we get to hear about the wife or the kind of person she was. This is the glorification of a despicable person who deserves the punishment that was meted out to him.

was this from a movie? or was it something you made yourself? oh it doesnt mattter! this is the best video that i have ever watched on youtube! BRAVO!!

Just a side note. I Google things on YouTube that I like to get more info on and found NOTHING. Would love to know if this a true story, who the actors were what reviews were of this film etc. Thanks again!!!

Well done. The best part was that the son never really said he forgave his Dad. Well written!! It was just enough detail without becoming too sweet. The man was a killer after all.

@HRTOACTIVIST That's great to hear! It's always tough to pull off emotion in such a short time period with the audience. This is actually my old account- my new account is stephencpickering and there is where my newer films are if you're interested in seeing others. Thanks again for the positive feedback!

Of the many interpretations, the one I closest intended was that of a sinner (Charles, the murderer) being forgiven by Christ (Jesse, his motherless son). Of course this annalogy cannot be picked appart too much before it breaks down, but then again, it's a 10 minute film.

Hey guys, I appreciate all of the comments. It's interesting how this film strikes different chords with each viewer.
JeffreyMedia, I couldn't help but notice your comment, "lets not forget... this man took someones life..." That's the whole point! A murderer (which he is) is forgiven. It's not deserved and from a human standpoint the act of murder cannot be forgotten, yet somehow from God's point of view our sins can be forgotten- even the act of murder against His son, Jesus.
