  • wow really? set ur car down on cinder blocks? Not the brightest idea. They are called, jack stands. not cinder blocks. Use them.

  • I don't agree with how fast he puts the plug back in. I think that is one of the advantages to changing oil yourself as opposed to taking it to a quick change place, you can let it drip longer and get all that dirty oil out. I actually let it drain and then run a new quart of oil through after the dirty oil drains out to push out the last of the dirty oil. I think that gives you the freshest start for your new oil.

  • Hey, the plug will need to be replaced, but did you try using a pair of vice-grips? Or---you can buy a special socket that are designed to grip stripped heads.

  • your not suppose to put air tools on drain plugs it can strip the plug there done by hand when putting the drain plug back in it should be hand tight

  • any tips for an oil plug that was stripped by an air tool. i cant get it off with anything, not even grip plyers
